POSITION DESCRIPTION
Works well by themselves in a fast-paced setting; performs technical laboratory procedures including patient testing, quality control, analyzer maintenance, analyzing statistical data, troubleshooting (a must), and reporting results for prediction and diagnosis of disease and provision of quality patient care. Must be able to perform all aspects of the laboratory, mostly waived testing and microscopic analysis, and provide appropriate care for all ages by following established technical protocols, using appropriate instrumentation, and reporting and interpreting results based on normal ranges.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or Associate’s degree in Medical Lab Technology/Clinical Lab Science
• Registration as MLT or HEW Licensure

EXPERIENCE

• Blood Bank proficiency is a MUST
• Microbiology proficiency strongly preferred
• New Graduates are welcome; experience preferred
