This role involves performing high-volume, repetitive laboratory tests and using standard procedures to identify causes of technical and instrumental problems.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education: Certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT, or AAB) within 6 months of hire. Recertification is required every 3 years if certification was obtained on or after 1/1/2004. Certification does not expire for individuals certified prior to 1/1/2004.
2. Experience: Experience as a generalist or in a designated discipline is strongly preferred.
3. Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and adapting to changing tasks quickly. Maintains confidentiality with patient information. Demonstrates integrity and accuracy in reporting.
