Job summary

A regional medical center is looking for a Medical Lab Technician for PRN positions. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, documenting, and reporting tests and results. A Degree or Associate Degree in Medical Technology or an educational equivalent is required, along with National Certification. The role demands at least one year of recent laboratory experience and the ability to ensure quality control measures are documented accurately.

Qualifications

• Degree or Associate Degree in Medical Technology or educational equivalent.
• National Certification preferred (ASCP, AMT, NLCP, ASCLS) or similar.
• Minimum of one year recent laboratory related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, analyzes, documents and reports tests and test results.
• Assures Quality Control measures are acceptable and documented appropriately.
• Communicates with physicians and nursing staff regarding required tests.
• Successfully completes proficiency testing as assigned.
