Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA is seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join our dedicated laboratory team. You will perform tests on blood and body fluids, follow quality control and safety procedures, and help ensure accurate patient results across multiple specialties.

Under supervision, you’ll train staff, collaborate with clinicians, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Competenze

• Completion of an accredited Associate degree or equivalent.
• National Certification as an MLT(ASCP), (AMT) or CLT(NCA).
• Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners – Clinical Laboratory Technician License

Mansioni

• Verify patient identification, specimens, and orders to prevent errors.
• Perform tests in areas of demonstrated competency with quality control.
• Calibrate, standardize, and maintain instrumentation with proper documentation.
• Evaluate results and communicate findings to medical staff.
• Assist in teaching and training of fellow employees and students.
