Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Technology or a related science required.
• Certification as a medical laboratory technician or clinical laboratory technician required or board eligible upon hire.
• None required for a registered Medical Laboratory Technician.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine testing accurately and posts results with proper documentation.
• Prioritizes workload to meet testing requests.
• Maintains quality control and documents failures and corrective actions.
• Trains new employees and updates procedures as needed.
• Performs pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing and troubleshooting.
