Job summary

HealthPartners seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to support the Woodbury Clinic Lab and uphold patient-focused service. The role requires an associate degree in a lab science or completion of a Certified Laboratory Assistant program, with certification eligibility and timely certification following hire.

Preferred candidates will have experience with high complexity testing and demonstrate teamwork while performing a range of laboratory procedures in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of a 12-month Certified Laboratory Assistant program.
• Eligibility to be certified; certification via ASCP or AMT within required windows.
• Experience with high complexity testing documented as of 9/1/92 or later.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process biological specimens per SOP.
• Perform testing and verify analyzer performance according to SOP.
• Document and communicate lab results thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain instruments and supplies; ensure compliance with CLIA and SOPs.
• Support patient care through professional, courteous service.
