Pay starts at $19.50/hr, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological tests to support disease diagnosis and treatment.
• Adhere to laboratory policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Quality Control and Safety protocols.
• Assist in data collection and analysis for Laboratory and Hospital Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Participate in training and orientation of new staff and students.
• Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure efficient laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Two years of college coursework in biology, chemistry, and mathematics, or an Associate of Arts degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Transcripts required for Bachelors without MLS/CLS certification; certification/license preferred but not mandatory.
• Registry by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists desired.
• One year of experience as a Medical Technician preferred.
