Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Laboratory professional to perform assigned tests and troubleshoot instruments at Summerville Medical Center. You will manage multiple procedures, maintain SOPs, and draft validation plans, ensuring clear communication within Laboratory Services.
Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (or related field), ASCP BOC certification, and at least three years of clinical experience. Career ladder opportunities are offered.
Responsible for performing laboratory testing assigned to the department. Recognize unusual test results and resolve discrepancies. Ability to establish work priorities and handle several procedures simultaneously including troubleshooting instruments and other problems/issues. Maintain knowledge of all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required to work effectively. Develop, draft, revise SOPs, training documents, validation/verification plans, test cases, and validation/verification summaries. Maintain excellent communication with the Department and other Laboratory Services personnel.
