Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist at Mint Hill Medical Center to join the Clinical Laboratory team. This full-time night shift role (Fri–Sun, 7:00 pm–7:30 am) involves performing tests, maintaining quality control, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate results.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field and ASCP/AMT certification, with strong leadership and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
• Technologist/Scientist Certification from ASCP or AMT (BB, C, H, MT/MLS, M, MB)
• Minimum of five years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including quality control, specimen collection, processing, and analysis.
• Assist in evaluating new or modified techniques and train other personnel on equipment and software as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
