Job summary

Banner Ogallala Community Hospital in Ogallala, Nebraska is seeking a Medical Lab Technician for a 24 hour/week position. The role performs waived and non-waived tests under CLIA ’88 with supervision and participates in quality, regulatory compliance, and specimen processing.

Responsibilities include startup/calibration of instruments, proofreading results, inventory management, and training other lab staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in lab science or Bachelor’s in chemical/biological science required.
• CLIA regulation eligibility or equivalent training.
• Phlebotomy competency required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and non-waived testing accurately and timely under supervision.
• Startup, calibration, and quality control of procedures and instrumentation.
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and proper lab workflow.
