Job summary

Clinch Valley Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Medical Lab Tech on a varied shift to support patient care. You will perform routine lab tests, report results, maintain instruments, and ensure quality control to uphold high standards of accuracy.

Applicants should have an Associate of Science degree with MLT certification preferred; a sign-on bonus is offered. This role contributes to a growing network dedicated to healthier communities in Virginia.

• Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.
• Performs common testing procedures and reports test results accurately.
• Conducts instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Performs quality control testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains supplies and equipment necessary for testing.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
