Job summary

OB/GYN Associates, P.C. is currently recruiting a Medical Lab Technician to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role involves specimen collection, processing, testing, and ensuring accurate results reporting in EHR systems.

Requirements include an ASCP-certified MLT or a Bachelor in MLS with MT/MLS/CLS certification, with LIS and EHR experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with generous benefits and a patient-centered culture.

• 40 hours - Monday thru Friday
• Between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:15pm.

Responsibilities:

• Sample collection
• Processing and Testing (assuring accuracy)
• Results reporting into EHR and other reporting systems
• Ability to manage priorities in a large volume lab/practice

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and certified MLT (ASCP) or a Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and certified MT (ASCP, MLS (ASCP) or CLS, and phlebotomy skills.
• LIS and EHR experience is preferred.
