Qualifications
- Associate degree or military equivalent required for medical laboratory work.
- Military Technical School completion (50 weeks min) and MOS Med Lab Specialist preferred.
- 0-2 years acute care lab experience required.
Responsibilities
- Performs moderate and high-complexity tests on blood and body fluids.
- Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment and ensures safety compliance.
- Documents results accurately and ensures proper QC procedures.
- Operates laboratory information systems and records data.
- Collects and documents specimens and chain-of-custody where applicable.
- Assists with phlebotomy duties and collaborates with team to complete tasks.
