Qualifications

• Graduate of a NCCLS accredited Medical Technician program.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.
• Handle specimen processing and pre-analytic inspection.
• Evaluate results, and enter/re-verify data in the Laboratory Information System.
• Conduct periodic quality control per policy and procedure.
• Evaluate new or modified procedures, reagents, and instruments.
• Participate in hospital initiatives and support department goals.
