Job summary

The MLT will perform phlebotomy as needed, adhere to safety policies, and support Laboratory Operations under the Laboratory Services leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or related scientific discipline required by CLIA.
• Registered ASCP or AMT certification within 1 year of start.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimens for acceptability for testing and perform testing per protocol.
• Verify accuracy of results before reporting and ensure timely communication of results.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments; troubleshoot equipment and specimens as needed; follow safety policies.
