Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking Medical Laboratory Technologists at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale to collect, process and test specimens for diagnosis and treatment. The role covers waived to high complexity testing in a CLIA-certified environment.

Candidates should have an associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and be eligible for MLT (ASCP) or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree opens MLS II/III tracks. Competitive wages listed per level; on-site, night shift.

• Bachelor's degree preferred for MLS II/III paths.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine waived, moderately, and high complex testing.
• Collects, processes and receives specimens (blood, urine, fecal, body fluids).
• Prepare samples for testing and send out to reference laboratories.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and stock supplies.
• Analyze quality control data and take corrective actions under CLIA supervision.
• Assist in troubleshooting and instrument maintenance.
• Participate in training programs.
