Job summary

Greater Regional Health seeks a certified MT/MLT to join our busy hospital laboratory on a full-time schedule. The technician will perform tests across hematology, chemistry, blood bank, microbiology, and urinalysis, with some filing, phones, and scanning.

New grads welcome; MT/MLT certification required; completion of a 3-month clinical internship; MT/MLT registration or equivalent education; BS degree (or associate for MLT).

Qualifications

• MT/MLT certification is required.
• Completion of a clinical laboratory internship of 3 months is required.
• MT or MLT registration or equivalent education, experience, and training.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university (or an associate degree for MLT) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab tests across hematology, chemistry, blood bank, microbiology, and urinalysis.
• Handle filing, phone duties and scanning as part of daily tasks.
