Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory/medical laboratory science or related life science field is required.
• Current ASCP or AMT certification (MLS, MT, or MLT) is required.
• At least 3 years of recent work experience in a clinical or medical laboratory is required.
• Master's degree in clinical/medical laboratory science, Education, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts lab sessions with MLT students and oversees lab processes.
• Assists placement of students in clinical assignments and oversees online administration of clinical assignment courses.
• Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses.
• Develops programs and course outlines, goals and objectives.
• Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Maintains equipment and supply inventories.
• Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports.
