Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have one of the following accredited education paths in Medical Lab Technology.
• Completed an MLT program or equivalent with appropriate credentials.
• Military medical laboratory training within the past ten years is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical tests on biological specimens in a timely, efficient and accurate manner per procedures.
• Determines specimen acceptability by visual inspection and by interpreting results.
• Performs quality control and ensures results meet established ranges before reporting.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized lab environment and troubleshoots equipment as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
