Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a laboratory environment.
• Education: Two year Medical Lab Technician Program/Associates Degree.
• Experience utilizing analyzers and computer proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and quality control procedures.
• Assess and report acceptable results; troubleshoot and document problems.
• Maintain and operate laboratory instruments and perform monthly maintenance.
• Maintain inventory sheets and notify needs.
• Assist in training students and new employees.
• Handle patient data in the computer system and perform phlebotomies as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; attend meetings and trainings.
