Job summary

Clover Health Services is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine and complex laboratory tests, collect specimens, and forward results to physicians. The role requires MLT certification (ASCP/AMT) and CPR/BLS, with an associate degree or equivalent training in medical laboratory science.

Qualifications

• MLT certification from ASCP or AMT is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Associate degree in medical laboratory science or related field is preferred.
• High school diploma with 3+ months documented full-time laboratory training per discipline is acceptable.
• 3+ months to 1 year of clinical lab experience.
• Experience in chemistry, hematology, microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests (microscopic, bacteriological, hematological, immunologic).
• Collect, prepare and store specimens.
• Forward test results to physicians.
• Keep accurate records.
• Explain procedures to patients.
• Prepare lab reagents.
