Job summary

Vitalant seeks a Medical Lab Scientist/Medical Lab Generalist for the Rosemont, IL Blood Reference Laboratory to perform high-complexity testing in immunohematology and to validate results. You will review findings, participate in investigations, and contribute to quality control and validations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science or MLS certification required.
• MLS certification required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.
• Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.
