Job summary

Qualifications

• ASCP BOC or AMT certification required or eligible.
• If not certified on hire, certification must be completed within 12 months.
• Evidence of ND State license or ND Provisional Permit.
• ND Provisional Permit holders must obtain ND State license within 12 months.
• Clinical Internship required.
• Previous clinical lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and validate complex tests across clinical disciplines per protocols.
• Monitor specimen integrity, QC, and instrument function for accurate results.
• Report findings promptly in LIS and escalate critical values.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Collaborate with providers and nursing staff to support patient care.
• Participate in competency assessments and quality improvement.
