Salem Health is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Scientist to join their Regional Lab team. In this critical role, you will perform various clinical tests, ensure compliance with procedures, and contribute to quality control initiatives. This position demands strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Position Type:Part Time, 20 hours/week, Non-Exempt
Schedule:2:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Your role with us
The medical laboratory scientist plays a critical role in the laboratory, utilizing technical expertise to perform complex testing, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues while ensuring compliance with laboratory procedures and accreditation standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. In this role, the MLS will perform advanced testing, participate in quality control and quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to the efficient operation of the laboratory.
