Job summary

Reading Hospital in Reading, PA, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures and to understand method principles. The role includes performing quality control and preventive maintenance, interpreting results within critical limits, and organizing work to meet deadlines.

Qualified candidates will have a CLS-related education, CLS experience, and eligibility for ASCP/AMT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent path with CLS program.
  • Clinical Laboratory Science experience is required.
  • ASCP or AMT eligibility is preferred or required.

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science - OR - Bachelor's in some other field of study AND completion of a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science program - OR - MT-HEW certification will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
