We offer a great atmosphere, competitive pay, a wide array of benefits, and many growth opportunities for our employees.**Job Description:**Medical Laboratory ScientistPerforms clinical laboratory testing aiding the physician in the crucial role of detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.**SKILLS AND ABILITIES*** Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position* Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment and telephones* Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public* Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision* Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location* Demonstrates a general knowledge of standard medical laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety precautions* Displays high level organizational skills including ability to multi-task and critically think* Must have legible handwriting**EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES*** Minimally must meet current qualifications listed under section “Clinical Laboratory Personnel Requirements” defined in the federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments Act of 1988 (CLIA-88) and Oregon Department of Human Services Regulations, College of American Pathologists (CAP) and Joint Commission standards.
