Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories in Phoenix, Arizona seeks a skilled laboratory professional for the Lab-BUMCP department. This role supports specimen processing, testing operations, and compliance with CLIA, CAP, JCAHO, OSHA standards.

You will work in a day shift, applying technical knowledge to complex testing, assist with collection and receipt of specimens, and uphold accuracy, safety, and quality across the lab workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology and appropriate certification as required.
• Active certification maintenance if working in Nevada or California.
• Foreign credential evaluation may be required for review.
• Phlebotomy competency in applicable departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with department compliance with CLIA '88, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA.
• Collect, receipt and processing of biological specimens into the laboratory.
• Perform testing and handle specimens according to approved policies and procedures.
• Support accurate documentation and on-site competency assessments.
