Job summary

Abrazo Scottsdale Campus Hospital is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform and oversee laboratory testing with emphasis on accuracy and quality. You will ensure instrument maintenance, participate in validation activities, and support regulatory compliance within a fast-paced acute care setting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in medical technology, state licensure as needed, and ASCP/NCA/AMT eligibility within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or equivalent as defined by CLIA regulations for high complexity testing.
• 2 years experience as a medical technologist in acute care facility or 1 year with a Master's degree.
• Registered with an approved certifying agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT or CSMLS) within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Process and test all laboratory specimens and report results.
• Maintain operation, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of lab instrumentation.
• Assist with equipment validation, employee training, and regulatory compliance responsibilities.
