Job summary
Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers in the ROCK ISLAND, IL area. Responsibilities include installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, and on-site training of instrumentation.
The ideal candidate has a certificate or AAS in electronics, 3+ years field service experience in medical devices, willingness to overnight travel, and is fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Base salary ranges 65K–85K plus overtime and a 4K–8K annual bonus.
Qualifications
- Certificate or AAS in electronics is required.
- Experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting is required.
- Overnight travel will be required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a field service engineer.
- Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or medical instrumentation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
- Establish a good customer relations foundation.
- Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
- Maintain car inventory (tools, parts).
- Provide basic on-site training on company instrumentation.
