Medical Lab Assistant II
  • Responsible for performing all collection procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of personnel on equipment and software.
  • Assist with office duties such as filing, copying, and maintaining a phlebotomy inventory.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of relevant phlebotomy and/or laboratory experience preferred.
  • Phlebotomy Certification from an approved agency required; MLA certification from ASCP or CMLA from AMT preferred.
  • Must obtain phlebotomy certification within 12 months if required by the role.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, laboratory procedures, emergency response, quality assurance, and effective communication skills are necessary.
