Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Inventory Coordinator to manage inventory activities for assigned departments and clinical programs. The role includes ensuring supplies, linens, and equipment are stocked and ready for clinical use, and overseeing day-to-day inventory operations within the department, facility, or program.

Qualifications

  • Six months of related Materials Management experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and speak English clearly, follow instructions, and understand customer communications.
  • Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
  • Experience in healthcare supplies or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory control on stock and non-stock items, set par levels, identify trends, and keep supplies organized.
  • Order and deliver supplies for the department using appropriate technology and suppliers.
  • Process documents (e.g., freight bill, bill of lading, packing slips) per Intermountain policy to ensure prompt input and filing.
  • Communicate information concerning supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation to staff; troubleshoot issues.
  • Restock supplies in identified storage locations, considering shelf life and par cart maintenance.
  • Validate incoming product via tote scanning, verification, and tote delivery using Counter and Delivery functions.
