Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital seeks an inventory coordinator to oversee daily materials management for the unit. You will ensure medical supplies, linens, and equipment are stocked and ready for patient care, and act as liaison between Supply Chain and clinical staff.

This full-time role is 40 hours weekly, 6am-2:30pm Friday through Tuesday, with pay based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Six months of related Materials Management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understand and speak English clearly; follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling apps.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, reports and similar objects.
• Ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment.
• Experience working with healthcare supplies.

Responsibilities

• Performs inventory control on stock and non-stock items for assigned units.
• Keeps supplies binned and organized; liaises between Supply Chain and department.
• Orders and delivers supplies using appropriate systems and suppliers.
• Communicates about supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation.
• Troubleshoots issues for problem resolution; maintains Kanban visuals and par levels.
• Monitors and reconciles quantity on hand; uses SCIS for distribution, receiving, and reports.
• Ensures compliance with policies and standard operating procedures.
• Reviews daily, weekly and monthly reports for assigned locations.
