Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive, simultaneous, and sight translation for patients and staff.
• Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and video interpretation in clinical settings.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with policies and ethics.
• Assist with interpreter training and scheduling of interpretation services.
• Coordinate translation needs and arrange interpreter services as needed.
• Facilitate culturally competent communication between patients and clinicians.
