Position: Medical Insurance Coordinator

Hours: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm

Location: 100% onsite in Minneapolis/Saint Paul office

Pay: $26.00/hr – $29.00/hr

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Medical Insurance Coordinator to join their client's dynamic team in Minnesota. This role involves ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between families, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, insurance providers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure client file compliance with insurance requirements following established guidelines set by management.
  • Facilitate successful physician appointments by transmitting necessary insurance documentation prior to scheduled visits and verifying appointment attendance.
  • Guide families in obtaining clarification from their insurance providers regarding coverage and requirements.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and resolutions, as well as actions taken in accordance with HIPAA policies.
  • Develop and maintain proficient working knowledge of customer relations systems (Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and other relevant databases.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of experience with Medical Insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literate with demonstrated ability to learn new programs
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying and implementing process improvements
