Inizio Engage is seeking a Medical Information Team Lead to support a biotechnology client from a Canada remote location. This role leads information services, ensures high-quality documentation, and triages medical information requests across channels while maintaining HIPAA privacy.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and mentor team members. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with High School Diploma required; strong communication skills are essential,

• Maintain excellent quality standards for client programs; adhere to scripts and guidelines; accurately collect information and document in databases.
• Triage all Medical Information Requests, Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints in compliance with guidelines and regulations for all contact channels.
• Complete literature fulfillment to customers.
• Exhibit effective communication and tele-management skills.
• Converse with callers empathetically and clarify medical terminology as needed.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills across multiple projects and meetings.

Medical Information Specialist Team Lead, Canada Remote

Inizio Engage has a long-standing partnership with a leading Biotechnology company, across Commercial, Patient Solutions and Medical Affairs businesses.

Representing clients on a variety of projects via inbound/outbound telecommunication.

Key Objectives:

• Maintain excellent quality standards for all client programs; adhere to program scripts and guidelines. Accurately collect information required by individual programs and correctly capture in specific program databases.
• Completely and accurately document and/or triage all Medical Information Requests, Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints in compliance with Inizio, Client and Federal guidelines and regulations, for all contact channel types, including but not limited to phone and email.
• Complete literature fulfillment to customers
• Exhibit effective communication and tele-management skills.
• Converse with callers in an empathetic manner and facilitate the callers in their ability to understand medical terminology, as needed.
• Possess effective organizational skills, including working with multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adhere to all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Display flexibility within department to maximize utilization, including performing administrative and non-telecommunication duties as needed.
• Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Job Holder Specification:

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and guide others
• Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
• Competency with a computer keyboard and mouse.
• Pleasant telephone manner
• Ability to join frequent meetings and calls without disruption or disconnecting
• Proficiency in reviewing intake documents thoroughly and entering information in database with little to no errors.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple parallel projects with strong time management skills
• Ability to join frequent meetings and calls without disruption or disconnecting
