The Med Info Spec - Nurse role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our mission. Located in Wilmington, NC, you will support our Medical Communications division by providing world-class medical information services and supporting clinical trials.

Shift Details

The working shift is variable and rotates weekly, between 11:00 am - 7:00 pm EST and 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST. Weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts are required.

A Day in the Life

• Respond accurately to technical and medical inquiries via phone, email, internet, or mail regarding pharmaceutical or device products.
• Process fulfillments, provide clinical trial information, and offer after-hours on-call support.
• Analyze questions to formulate accurate responses using client-approved resources.
• Identify, record, and triage adverse events and product complaints per guidelines, providing additional support as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of project and corporate policies, including SOPs, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with internal and external contacts to resolve complex inquiries, researching medical literature and drafting responses as needed.

Keys to Success

Education

• Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in Nursing or equivalent qualification.

Experience

• Previous relevant experience.
• Active RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) equivalency.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Work in an office environment with exposure to electrical equipment.
• Interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Support evening hours and rotating shifts, including after-hours on-call.
