Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking a Systems Software Engineer to develop, document, maintain and optimize medical graphical display software in C/C++ for Windows and Linux as part of the R&D team.

They will lead or perform software testing to ensure IEC 60601, IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 compliance and learn medical device safety standards, risk management, UI/UX considerations, and pre-/post-clinical study development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or Biomedical Engineering; MEDTECH exposure a plus.
• Minimum 3 years' MEDTECH experience with product commercialization.
• Proficiency in C and C++; Python preferred.
• Windows development with MSVC and CMake; embedded Linux is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and document graphical user software for real-time greyscale images.
• Develop, test, and document GUI as part of usability studies and reports.
• Optimize and maintain software and embedded systems.
• Port software from Windows to Linux environments.
• Perform and document software risk analyses.
• Adhere to IEC 60601, IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 standards.
• Contribute to FDA submissions such as 510(k).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
