Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Medical Imaging Engineer II in Clackamas, Oregon. You will supervise acquisition, installation, calibration, repair and maintenance of advanced medical imaging equipment on site.

You will advise on specifications, coordinate with vendors, perform safety inspections, and document activities in the maintenance system to ensure high reliability and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment or four (4) years total experience.
• AAS degree in biomedical equipment service technology or related field required.
• Driver's license required where applicable.
• Proficient knowledge of medical imaging systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Advise on specifications for purchases and evaluate new imaging equipment.
• Coordinate installation, calibration, and maintenance of imaging systems.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure HIPAA storage/security compliance.
• Diagnose malfunctions and coordinate remediation with vendors and staff.
• Document work in the centralized maintenance management system.
