Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, working with Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston, seeks a Medical Imaging Supervisor to oversee imaging operations across modalities, ensure compliance with policies, and lead both technical and clerical staff across multiple locations.

Required qualifications include an AS degree in Applied Science or equivalent, appropriate licenses, BCLS, 3+ years of technical experience with regulatory and quality control, and PACS/RIS experience; strong communication and leadership are

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Applied Science or graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Radiologic Technology, or MRI program.
• Required licenses and certifications dependent on modality/specialty.
• BCLS certification.
• 3+ years technical experience including regulatory and quality control responsibilities.
• PACS and RIS experience.
• Ability to use computer and Microsoft Office to generate department reports and presentations.
• Understanding image acquisition and workflows across modalities.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee imaging operations across modalities and locations according to department policies.
• Utilize RIS and PACS and related systems for timekeeping and ordering.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, accreditation, and maintenance concerns are addressed.
• Supervise technical and/or clerical staff, potentially across multiple locations and modalities.
