Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Medical Imaging Supervisor to oversee diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities. Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating with Radiologists and management, and maintaining quality and safety standards across the department.

The role requires a strong background in PACS/RIS, leadership experience, and at least 3 years in a radiology/medical imaging setting, with appropriate licensure and BCLS

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Applied Science or graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Radiologic Technology, and/or MRI.
• Required licenses and certifications dependent on the modality/specialty of the incumbent.
• BCLS certification.
• 3+ years technical experience to include regulatory and quality control responsibilities. PACS and RIS experience.
• Ability to use computer and Microsoft Office to generate department reports and presentations, PRN.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, Documented evidence of leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic medical imaging studies in keeping with credentials and according to policies, procedures and protocols of the KSC radiology department.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns work for department, ensuring coverage of all hours of operations and monitors productivity.
• Maintains current licenses and/or certifications and ensures staff maintain credentials.
• Oversees quality control measures and ensures high quality studies.
• Collaborates with Radiologists, Management, and Quality Specialists to address issues and implement corrective actions.
