Job summary

Harris Health System, Inc. invites applications for a Medical Imaging Fellow who has completed a JRCERT/JRCDMS accredited program and is board certified. Fellows trained in CT, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board.

MRI fellowship is limited to MRI-focused training under supervision. The Fellow must be available for 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays, with didactic classes and clinical training in

Qualifications

• Associates degree required (or equivalent).
• ARRT certification in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy; Texas Medical Board license required for CT/MRI programs.
• ARDMS certification for MRI training; Sonographers may train in MRI only.
• One year work experience in Medical Imaging (preferred).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to acquire high quality diagnostic imaging under supervision.
• Ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Assist with imaging procedures in CT, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine as assigned.
