Capital Radiology is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Medical Imaging Assistant with excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills to join our team at Capital Vermont. You will be highly motivated with a strong focus on patient care, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

This will be a permanent, full-time (Mon-Fri) position, and will require rotation through our Vermont Private site other nearby clinics.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is beneficial
• Ability to promote and maintain high standards of patient care
• High level of personal and interpersonal communication
• Ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Have or be willing to obtain CPR accreditation

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiographers in providing CT and Sonographer efficiency, and Radiologists in performing Ultrasound (US) Guided Procedures
• CT and Ultrasound patient preparation from waiting room to point of scanning
• Assistance to the Radiologist in performing US Guided Procedures
• General pre and post scan patient care

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist Radiographers in providing CT and Sonographer efficiency, and Radiologists in performing Ultrasound (US) Guided Procedures
• CT and Ultrasound patient preparation from waiting room to point of scanning
• Assistance to the Radiologist in performing US Guided Procedures
• General pre and post scan patient care
