Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Staff Nurse for Medical ICU / 36-hour night shifts to deliver expert patient care for adults with complex needs.

You will be accountable for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care and will work under a nurse manager or supervisor. Qualifications include Massachusetts RN licensure, BSN for new grads, and ACLS; CCRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
• For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• ACLS certification; CCRN certification preferred (if applicable).
• Membership in professional organizations is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and coordinates patient care for assigned adults with varying acuity.
• Documents care accurately and maintains clear communication within the team.
• Develops and implements comprehensive plans of care and discharge planning.
• Administers medications safely and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality and safety.
