Job summary

Vitruvian Health in the United States is seeking a skilled RN to provide and coordinate direct care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) using the nursing process.

The role requires an RN license in Georgia, with BSN/MSN preferred, and experience or coursework in critical care. The position emphasizes growth, service, and alignment with Hamilton’s mission and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing. BSN or MSN preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN License in the State of Georgia. BLS required ACLS preferred CCRN preferred
• Experience: Experience preferred Critical Care Course/Internship preferred
• Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia. Additionally, proficient in special skills as demonstrated through completion of critical care skills check‑off.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in the MICU utilizing the nursing process.
• Manages care for patients presenting with life-threatening illness and/or disease.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Works in typical acute health care setting with adolescent, adult and geriatric patients experiencing a wide range of medical and/or surgical problems. Required to work flexible schedule including weekends. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
