Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing operations on a unit, ensuring patient care standards and 24-hour coverage in the absence of the Manager or Director.

The ideal candidate is an accredited RN with a current GA license, BLS certification, and several years of clinical experience including a year in a specialty area; ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials are a plus. Rotating weekend shifts and early morning hours included.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit specific patient population.
