Holy Cross Hospital in Wheaton, MD, is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for its brand-new Cancer Center. The role includes inpatient and outpatient consultations and treatment across all cancer types in a state-of-the-art facility co-located with advanced radiation technology.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities for the BC/BE physician will include inpatient and outpatient consultations in disciplines.
• The position will develop and provide treatment in all cancer types.
• The position will utilize tertiary care centers in cases that require this.
• We are co-located with the latest radiation technology.
• The Physician provides licensed medical care including diagnosis, treatment (inclusive of surgery or pre/post-surgical care where appropriate) in the Cancer Center as well as case management and clinical research when appropriate.
• Must be able to manage complex and sometimes unpredictable situations.
• Must be competent in technical, clinical and surgical skills (where appropriate), cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve those patients receiving the above-mentioned services.
• The Physician is expected to practice within the established Medical Center and physician’s standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols), and adhere to key results areas of the Medical Center.
• Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
