Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to join our medical air transport team. You will transport patients alongside medical staff, ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR and company standards.

You will maintain documentation and coordinate with dispatch and crews to ensure smooth operations. The role requires current rotorcraft certification, instrument rating, and substantial helicopter flight hours, including PIC time.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours and 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with medical team to destinations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and requirements.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to successive pilots per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
