Job summary

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATES LLC in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a Technical Service Tech to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medical gas vacuum pumps and air compressors in healthcare settings. The role includes environmental monitoring, ventilation surveys, OR testing, halogenated agent exposure, and IAQ monitoring, with extensive travel to support field personnel.

Candidates should have experience with pumps/compressors, basic MS Office skills, and are expected to obtain ASSE

Qualifications

• Experience with medical gas equipment is preferred.
• Must be highly organized with strong customer service.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and adapt to varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair medical vacuum pumps and air compressors (1.5-25HP).
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps/compressors from various manufacturers.
• Follow operating manuals for preventive maintenance services.
• Work with control panels and cabinets at voltages 208-460.
• Use hand tools, meters, and material handling equipment safely.
• Report faults and communicate with supervisor; assist in sales as needed.

ASSE 6040 certification

ASSE 6030 certification

Experience with pumps and compressors
