Job summary

Crothall Healthcare in Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital is seeking a Medical Gas Plumber for the 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm, M-F). You will lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping and equipment for medical gas and vacuum systems per ASSE 6010 standards.

Qualified candidates should have a TX State Plumbing License and Medical Gas Certification preferred, read blueprints, and perform pipe cutting, threading, and pressure testing. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• TX State Plumbing License and Medical Gas Certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and building plans for piping installation.
• Completion of a certified training program is required.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material and piping required and dimensions of plumbing system to be installed.
• Install and assemble metal and non-metal piping and fittings, including those made of brass, copper, lead, glass, and plastic.
• Test system for leaks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and install gas and vacuum piping for medical gas systems per ASSE 6010 standards.
