Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to support a multi-station front desk at the Lecanto clinic. You will perform clerical duties, assist coworkers, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced, multi-site healthcare environment.

Strong organizational and communication skills, a high school diploma, and healthcare experience are preferred. Training will cover all front office stations with emphasis on accuracy and patient focus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma / GED required.
• Experience: Healthcare field experience preferred; ability to multitask and communicate with diverse personalities.
• Core capabilities: strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform all duties of all front office stations.
• Assist coworkers in performing every job duty of a PSS at all times.
• Maintain high accuracy and meet time-sensitive priorities.
• Perform standard clerical tasks for a medical clinic.
• Demonstrate strong copywriting/editing skills as needed.
